ISPS audits for Port Facilities

The ISPS Code (Part A 16.13) requires that Port Facilities establish procedures for auditing the Port Facility Security Plan (PFSP) and also requires that personnel conducting such audits shall be independent of the activities being audited unless this is impractical due to the size and nature of the Port Facility. Wavetrain has extensive experience of auditing Port Facilities throughout the world and will work with the PFSO to rectify any potential non-conformities prior to an external audit by the relevant Designated Authority.

ISM and ISPS audits for ships

Both the ISM and ISPS Codes require that shipping companies and the vessels that they are responsible for should carry out internal audits and that the personnel conducting such audits shall be independent of the activities being audited unless this is impractical due to the size and nature of the shipping company or of the ship. Wavetrain can undertake such audits on your behalf ensuring that non-conformities are identified and dealt with prior to an audit by the Flag Administration or RO/RSO.
